This antique vintage sash brooch is a dramatic example of Art Nouveau. The black enamel metal features a repousse moth or butterfly with scroll work details. The shape of the brooch echoes the winged insect motif. Secured by an antique C clasp. Unsigned. Measures 2.5 x 2.25. Good condition, the belt prong has broken off or been intentionally removed.
