1920s Sterling Dragon's Breath Ring

This beautiful ring from the 1920s is set with an oval cabochon of glass Dragon's Breath. Dragon's Breath stones are glass infused with metals to create the "breath" which are flashes and ripples of purplish-blue fire. These stones were first created in the early 1900s and are hard to find today. The stone has a orange body color with a wide flash of purplish blue "breath". This ring is set with a 15mm x 11mm Dragon's Breath in a sterling bezel with a twisted rope edge. The stone is well loved as it shows abrasion and chips from wear. The ring is a size 3 and would make a wonderful and unique pinky ring.
