Antique Bridle Rosette Brooch
Item: 584
This beautiful bubble glass dome Victorian bridle rosette features a lovely scene of mallard ducks on a pond. Set in a brass bezel and back. Bridle rosettes were popular during the Victorian Age, and decorated the harnesses of horses. They were often made in pairs, but rarely found in pairs now. During the teens and 1920s these collectibles were turned into brooches. This is a great piece for the collector of equestrian jewelry. Measures 1 3/4 in diameter with a height of about 1/2. Fair condition.
