Beautiful Toshikane Arita Porcelain Oval Orchid Brooch

This lovely vintage Japanese brooch has an orchid in pinks with a soft yellow to orange throat with green and gold leaf on a stippled black background. The brooch is rimmed in metallic gold. The back of the brooch is finished with a green background and metallic gold scroll work. Secured with a brass pin stem and clasp. The brooch measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/4". The back is embossed with the Toshikane logo and Japan. Excellent condition. Circa 1950s
