This beautiful sterling silver bee brooch/pendant is exquisitely detailed! The bee is a combination of sterling silver and 14K gold plate, and is set with beautiful natural opals for the eyes. Fitted with a pendant bail, I have paired the bee with a Mexican silver tapered neck wire for a high end look! The neck wire is stamped Mexico 925. Courtney Designs is a collaboration between husband and wife team Courtney and Lee Peterson. Their jewelry ranges from the naturalistic to the whimsical.
The brooch/pendant measures 1 5/8" x 2 1/4", and weighs 12.0 grams. The sterling neck wire has a circumference of 15 1/4" including the 2 3/4" opening. The neck wire tapers from 4.5mm to 6mm. The neck wire weighs 23.3. grams.
