This extraordinary Modernist pendant necklace is from renowned couture designer Pierre Cardin. The large pendant is set with oval opaque white cabochon milk glass stones set east-west. The necklace has a heavy snake chain measuring 16. The gold tone pendant measures 2 1/2 x 1 15/16. This necklace is reasonably priced for this sought after designer. Very good condition. Circa 1970s. Pierre Cardin is a much celebrated, visionary 20th c. couture designer. His designs have the reputation of being innovative, and focused on the Modernist, abstract, even space age style.
