Highly collectible, this exquisite fringe lion brooch/pendant with original chain definitely makes a statement. There is nothing understated about this beauty! The colored rhinestone face features golden orange and brown rhinestones with emerald green navette eyes. Surrounded 1" long gold plated foxtail fringe which freely moves giving life to the majestic lion's mane. This brooch/pendant is a stunner! The brooch is additionally fitted with a pendant bail, and comes with the original textured link chain.
The fringe animal pins are attributed to Dominique, but are unsigned. They came in three sizes, this being the largest. All of the fringe animals are rare, but the largest are extremely hard to come by. As seen in, "Unsigned Beauties of Costume Jewelry", by Marcia Sparkles Brown page 69, and Millers Costume Jewelry on page 219.
Measures 4 1/2" x 4". The chain is 3/8" wide and 25" long.
