Scarab bracelets were all the rage in the 1940s - 1950s, being inspired by the discovery of the treasures of King Tuts tomb. The Egyptian symbol of rebirth and regeneration, the scarab has been a treasured amulet since ancient times. In the 20th c. it was worn for good luck.
This beautiful bracelet is set with seven vibrant colored large molded resin scarab stones in colors to simulate turquoise, amber, green chrysoprase, rhodochrosite, and coral. The open back settings show the hieroglyphs on the back of the scarabs. The bracelet is secured by a hinged clip, with detachable safety chain. This is a bold, beautiful bracelet that will have your friends saying WOW!
The scarabs measure approximately 23mm x 17mm x 8mm.
The bracelet measures 7 3/4" long x 1" in wide.
