French Red White Gold Glass Sead Bead Brooch

Does anyone do beading better than the French? This exquisite vintage brooch is hand beaded with white opalescent and red glass seed beads with a larger red bead in the center. The round brooch has a scalloped edge with fine detail and open pierced work. The backing of the brooch is gold plated filigree. Marked France. Secured by a trombone clasp.
Without doubt old French jewelry is my personal favorite.
Measure 2" in diameter.
Good condition. There is one section with an exposed wire, and possibly missing opalescent seed beads. The pin stem is crimped near the hinge. Clasp is tight, and in good working order.
