Joan Rivers Egg Charm Necklace
Item: 1452
This fabulous Joan Rivers charm necklace is inspired by the Queen Marie of Romanias charm necklace given to Joan by her husband Edgar Rosenberg. The royal necklace featured Faberge eggs, egg charms carved from semi precious gems, and miniature animal charms. This necklace is composed of 19 individual charms, including 14 egg charms, many enameled or bejeweled. Each charm is ingeniously attached by a removable spring ring, allowing the charms to be arranged in any manner. In Joan's own words, "Certain jewels are intimate by nature. They want to be touched, twirled in the hand, or, in the case of this necklace, read like chapter in an ever-unfolding story."
A similar necklace and the one that inspired it may be seen on pages 22 & 23 of Joan River's book, "Jewelry By Joan Rivers." On page 72 of the same book Joan Rivers herself is pictured wearing a similar necklace to this one. gold plate and glass coral colored bead bib necklace will have you feeling exotic and beautiful! The golden filigree dangles rows of oval glass beads and sparkles with small orange Austrian crystals. This is a spectacular signed Joan Rivers necklace.
The necklace is 48" long. It may be adjusted to any length by adding or removing charms, and chain sections. Each charm may be worn independently as a single pendant on a chain for incredible versatility.
