Judy Lee Glass Scarab Bracelet
Scarab bracelets were all the rage in the 1940s - 1960s, being inspired by the discovery of the treasures of King Tuts tomb. The Egyptian symbol of rebirth and regeneration, the scarab has been a treasured amulet since ancient times. In the 20th c. it was worn for good luck.
This beautiful Judy Lee scarab bracelet is set with six molded glass scarab stones in colors to simulate turquoise, rock crystal, chrysoprase, carnelian, rose quartz, and lapis in a soft gold tone. The open back settings show the hieroglyphs on the back of the glass scarabs. Secured by a spring ring clasp with Judy Lee dangle.
The scarabs measure approximately 13mm x 9.5mm x 5mm.
The bracelet measures 8" in length x 7/16" (11.3mm) in width.
