Kafin NY Style Gemstone Scarab Wide Bracelet

Item: 1434

Scarab bracelets were all the rage in the 1940s - 1950s, being inspired by the discovery of the treasures of King Tuts tomb. The Egyptian symbol of rebirth and regeneration, the scarab has been a treasured amulet since ancient times. In the 20th c. it was worn for good luck.

This beautiful bracelet is set with six semi-precious hard stone hand carved scarabs with art glass cabochon accents on either side of a wide curb link chain. The bracelet is designed in the Kafin NY style. The scarab stones include lapis lazuli, green agate, citrine, and amethyst. The bracelet is secured with a fold over clasp. It is unsigned, and the maker is unknown. This a beautiful and unusual scarab bracelet that will bring compliments on every wearing!

The scarabs measure approximately 14mm x 10mm x 6mm.

The bracelet measures 7" x 1 1/4" and has a safety chain with spring ring clasp.
