Lucite Virgo Pendant Necklace

Is there a more iconic look for the 60s and early 70s than fabulous Lucite jewelry! This large clear Lucite pendant is embedded with a detailed gold winged virgin inscribed on the back with the dates of Aug 24 - Sept 22 Virgo. The pendant has a large brushed gold tone bail, and is suspended on a substantial chain secured by a spring ring clasp.
Identical unsigned pendant necklaces were made for Helena Rubinstein in a tortoise Lucite with logo paper tags. I suspect the clear Lucite Zodiac necklaces were made for Helena Rubinstein as well.
The pendant measures 2 1/2" (excluding bail) x 2 1/4" with a 1/2" bail, on a 23" chain.
Very good condition, with minor scratches, and plating loss on the chain.
