Large and loaded with Modernist design, this geometric triangle in hammered and high polish gold plate is bezel set with an oval amethyst cabochon (25mm x 18mm). The high polished triangle folds over the larger hammered triangle in origami fashion. The back is hand signed with the designers name in script. It appears to read, McFarland. This is a large statement brooch. Measures 5.5 x 2.25. Very good condition. Circa 1980s - 1990s.
