Old Taxco Silver Turquoise Brooch - Vintage 1930s Mexico - C Clasp

This heavily decorated vintage Taxco brooch is made of silver with a large green turquoise cabochon in the center. The rectangular plaque brooch has fine artisan hand work including coiled scrolls and silver hemispheres. This is a large, substantial brooch, and is secured by a heavy pin stem and C clasp. The brooch measures 2 3/4 x 1 7/8. The turquoise cab measures 14.5mm. Good condition. Circa 1920s.
