Opalescent Opaline Glass Bead & Faux Pearl 54" Long Necklace

This fabulous vintage, long Opaline glass bead necklace with purplish gray and blue faux pearls is not only drop dead gorgeous, but super versatile as well! With a spring ring clasp, the necklace allows for doubling and tripling for a dramatic layered statement. Or pair with a beautiful brooch to create a stunning formal look! The possibilities are limited only by imagination. The opalescent glass beads measure from 7mm to 13mm, and are baroque in shape. The round purplish gray pearls measure 8mm to 11.5mm. And the blue round & baroque pearls measure 8mm - 13mm. Length is 54. Condition is good, with some minor flaking on the blue baroque pearls. I found no chips or flea bites on the Opaline beads. The spring ring clasp shows its age and has oxidation issues, but is still in fine working order. Circa 1930s - 1940s.
