Rare Alexandrite Color Change Rhinestone Enamel Necklace/Earrings

Extremely rare is this vintage color change Alexandrite rhinestone necklace and earring demi parure by Coro. This ultra feminine choker style necklace and earrings are designed with white enameled floral spray links, set with round alexandrite rhinestones. These rare and beautiful stones change color from a light aqua blue to a light lavender depending on the light source. Incandescent light produces the light purple colors, and ultraviolet or fluorescent light produces the light blue colors. The link portion of the necklace measures 12. The additional extender chain allows the necklace to be worn from 14 - 16 1/2. The extender chain is a series of white lucite plastic beads. The width is 3/4. The earrings measure 1 1/4 x 7/8. The hook clasp is signed Coro. A faint Coro logo is visible on the ear clips. The plating of the necklace and earrings is pristine. All rhinestones are bright and clear. Minor enamel loss. Over all condition is very good to excellent.
