This lovely vintage brooch in sterling silver is a highly dimensional ornate Gibson Girl head. The lady is wearing her hair in typical Gibson Girl style covered by an ornate Victorian style bonnet or hat, with a bow swag tied under the chin. While the style is Victorian, this brooch was made during the Art Deco period of the 1920s - 1930s. Simply charming! Measures 1 3/8 x 1 1/8. Weighs 18.3 grams. Very good condition. Circa 1930s.
