Vintage Avon Imperial Powder Compact - 1960s Goldtone

From the Imperial series, this vintage Avon pressed powder, mirrored compact is simply elegant! The gold tone textured brush finish is further ornamented with a filigree rope scroll work center. The compact has the original pressed powder, powder full, and pristine mirror. Complete with original suede protective pouch. A great piece for a collector, or for any elegant, chic lady! Measures 2 7/8 x 2 7/8. Condition is very good, with several small spots of either dirt, oxidation or plating wear on the back and under the scroll work. I have only wiped with a soft cloth as I did not want to risk damaging the finish. The interior is clean and pristine. This compact has been used only slightly. Circa 1960s.
