Vintage Jeanne Easter Egg Flower Brooch

What a stunning brooch! The porcelain like glass cab features superb mottling and stippling in orange, green. gold, and white shades. They are some of the nicest easter egg stones I've encountered. Created by Jeanne, a company in business from about the late 1950s through the 1960s. This beautiful brooch is featured on page 210 of "Collecting Costume Jewelry 101" by Julia C. Carroll. The brooch's tendril like blossom prongs and thorny stem have a wonderful organic feel! The brooch measures 4 3/8" long! The Easter egg stone measures a whopping 1 5/8" x 1 1/4"....the largest I've ever seen! Excellent condition. Circa 1960s.
