Vintage Napier Sea Fern Necklace Earring Set Book Piece - Circa 1971

This exceptional necklace earring set designed by Eugene Bertolli for Napier has the large, sculptural style that was so hot in the early 70s, and is seeing a resurgence today. Called Sea Fern in the Napier is Moodier ad, this type of sculpted metal is also called Gold Coral and Sculpted Coral. Seen on page 454 of Melinda Lewiss book, The Napier Co: Defining 20th Century Costume Jewelry. The necklace measures 18 and the pendant measures 3 x 3. The earrings measure 1 3/8 x 1 1/8. Very good condition. Circa early 1970s.
